• Regulation at $300 per hour. We recommend a 4 to 8 hour block typically.

Regulation is like tuning up your car or changing the oil — it’s the process of optimizing the existing parts so the action performs exactly as it should. While many people think of regulation as only a “touch” adjustment, a well-regulated piano also unlocks the full tonal and dynamic potential of the instrument.

• Humidifier system installation, flat $850

After an initial assessment, we return for deeper restoration work, which may include:

• Replacing bass and steel strings and tuning pins
• Hammer sanding & voicing
• Adjusting key weight and touch
• Action enhancements

These upgrades can be completed in your home, though we also offer the option to perform certain enhancements in our workshop if preferred.

For pianos in need of major rebuilding or full cosmetic renewal, we offer comprehensive workshop restorations. We handle transport and perform services such as:

• Full refinishing
• New complete action
• Full restringing
• Soundboard/bridge/pinblock restoration
• Custom fabrication of missing parts (music desks, legs, etc.)
• Deep structural and cosmetic restoration

This level of rebuild is ideal for heirloom, high-value, or historic instruments that deserve full restoration.
