Our team is trained in both aural tuning and ETD (Electronic Tuning Device) tuning, allowing us to offer a refined hybrid approach that combines musical sensitivity with modern accuracy—ideal for concert-level and studio-quality results.

During each visit, we evaluate whether your piano is stable enough to be tuned to A440. If the instrument has fallen significantly flat, it may require a pitch raise or double tuning to return it safely and properly to standard pitch. Pianos that have not been tuned within the last 18–24 months commonly fall into this category.

After your tuning, we provide customized recommendations so you have a clear understanding of what restoring the piano to factory or concert specifications would entail—whether that includes additional tunings, regulation, voicing, or longer-term planning.

We also offer a complimentary key cleaning when booked alongside a piano tuning (using either your supplies or ours). This option can be added directly through the Piano Tuning Services tab in our booking platform.

Key cleaning includes careful dusting and appropriate polishing of the natural (white) keys, whether ivory or plastic, using material-specific cleaning protocols. When booked as a standalone service, key cleaning typically carries a minimum fee of $300, making it a valuable addition to your tuning appointment.
